The Bureau is tasked with the
maintenance and development of the NAPWC -as an urban natural
recreation and education center.

Continued the
maintenance and rehabilitation of the Wildlife Rescue Center
which houses a total of 1,070 head of invertebrates, birds,
reptiles and mammals.
·
Maintained the
different facilities and amenities which catered to the needs of
the public. Among which are: [1] Visitor Center, where public
and official functions are held; [2] Gazebo, which is found in
the heart of the lagoon used for official and social functions;
[3] amphitheater; and [4] Fishing Village, used for various
public activities.
· NAPWC generated
an income of Php 1,101,308.00 from January to March 2008
from entrance fees and use of facilities. The total
number of park visitors for the year was recorded at 132,260
individuals. The income is deposited at the National
Treasury and forms part of the IPAF created pursuant to RA 7586
(NIPAS Act).
