The Bureau in partnership with
the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) based in
Denmark and with funding from DANIDA entered in 2006 into a
Memorandum of Agreement with the aim of implementing the Project
“Monitoring Matters: Comparative Analysis of Innovative
Approaches” (MOMA). Generally, the project intends to achieve
sustainable use of natural resources thereby utilizing the most
reliable methods of monitoring resources use trends in the
country particularly in identified priority PAs. Specifically,
the project hopes to develop an improved understanding of the
reliability of locally-based participatory monitoring versus
